On December 3, 2024, the Ecosystem Breakfast took place on the theme: Pharmacokinetics in Drug Discovery.
Lionel Trottet, head of DMPK (Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics) at NovAlix, presented pharmacokinetics in drug discovery for small molecules.
He presented the principles of ADME (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, Excretion) and highlighted the importance of DMPK tests to select a candidate molecule in the preclinical phase.
